The idea for the Lalibela Brew Tour started in late 2016, after my visit to Axum and Lalibela. The local beer scene is fascinating to me, because it combines three things I’m passionate about in life: travel, getting to know people, and beer. I decided I would help promote this unique experience to other travelers in Ethiopia.

Lalibela Brew Tour is operated by expert guides through Express Travel. These guide work and live in Ethiopia. They have years of experience leading tours in the area, and are excited about this opportunity to share their drinking culture with you! We worked diligently to develop a tour that will be informative, engaging and enlightening.
